Flower-shaped bottle opener aid – TPE twist-off grip

Your guests are already at the table, the bottle of mineral water is ready – and the screw cap won't budge a single millimetre. That's exactly what this flower-shaped bottle opener is for: a twist-off grip made from soft, grippy plastic that lets you turn stubborn lids with very little effort. Small, light and always to hand – just made for your kitchen drawer.

What changes for you

• You can open drinks bottles on your own again, without asking anyone for help – because the six wide petals give your fingers a firm hold and transfer your strength straight to the cap.
• You're kind to your hands, because the minimal effort needed helps prevent painful twisting and injuries from sharp plastic or metal edges.
• You keep your grip even with wet or greasy hands – the non-slip TPE material sits securely on the screw cap.
• You have a bottle-opening aid that's discreet on the go: at just 44 g and around 60 mm in diameter, it fits in any bag or pocket.
• You'll find the right version for every household, as the opening aid comes in lots of colours to choose from.

Why this opening aid makes a difference every day

A stuck lid is a small thing – until it becomes a daily annoyance. Children, older people and anyone with reduced grip strength in particular often find opening bottles a hurdle that leaves them relying on others. With this twist-off grip, a struggle becomes a quick twist: place it on, turn, done. It gives back a bit of independence – at home, at the office and on the go.

Material & finish

The opening aid is made from TPE (thermoplastic elastomers) – a material that feels like silicone and is kind to skin. It's resistant to oils, grease and solvents, durable and rustproof, so your everyday helper will last you a long time. The ergonomic flower design with six wide petals gives extra grip, and the compact, universal fit sits securely around common plastic and metal screw caps. The item is made in Thuringia, Germany – and at Bütic you can get it in the colour of your choice.

Good to know about the opening aid

As we get older, many of us notice our grip strength declining – everyday tasks like unscrewing a water bottle then become a struggle or even painful. Ergonomic opening aids tackle exactly this: they enlarge the gripping surface and improve the transfer of force. That's why the flower-shaped twist-off grip is also a popular, thoughtful little gift for parents and grandparents.

Care & durability

There's not much you need to do: the opening aid is dishwasher-safe up to 45 °C and can simply be washed along with the rest of your dishes. As the TPE material is resistant to oils, grease and solvents and is rustproof, it stays grippy and looks good for a long time, even with daily use.
