Sustainability
As a woodworking business, we take sustainability seriously. That applies to our materials, our packaging, our shipping and the suppliers we choose.
Packaging
We are gradually switching our boxes to standard cartons without self-adhesive closures.
Inside the boxes, we now use almost only wood wool to protect your order from damage in transit. We only use bubble wrap in a few cases – for glass items and bark-edge boards.
We have used packing peanuts made from corn starch for years. Alongside them, we are using more and more pure, untreated wood wool.

Offcuts are not waste
Laser cutting always leaves some material behind. We can't avoid that, but we can put it to use. Usable offcuts don't go in the skip. Instead, they go back on sale by the kilo and as remnants, usually at much lower prices. They are often just right for craft projects.
Local sourcing
When we choose our suppliers, price is not the only factor. We try to keep delivery routes as short as possible. That matters to us at least as much as a good price.
Everything is made here in Pößneck, Thuringia, from cutting to finishing.
Shipping
For deliveries within Germany, you can choose DHL GoGreen Plus at checkout. This means lower CO₂e emissions for your parcel. It costs an extra €0.20 and is free once your order qualifies for free shipping.
All orders are sent as insured DHL parcels. You'll find the details under Shipping & delivery times.
We're not there yet, but we're on our way. If you notice something we could do better, please get in touch.
