Dried-on dirt in the tile grout. A stone floor that just won't look clean. Some spots in the home need more than a quick wipe. This beechwood scrubbing brush is made for exactly these corners. The S-shape sits comfortably in your hand. The bristles do the work. Tedious scrubbing becomes a job with visible results.

What changes for you

  • You can scrub for longer without your hand getting tired. The curved S-shape fits naturally to your grip.
  • You can loosen even dried-on dirt. The firm bristles manage this together with a suitable cleaner.
  • You choose the stiffness that suits your floor. Depending on the model, it's medium, stiff or extra stiff.
  • You can even work with boiling water. The Thermo PET version is heat-resistant up to approx. 100 °C.
  • You're holding a durable household tool. The brush body is made of beechwood. It's neatly finished and made in Germany.

Why this scrubbing brush makes a difference every day

It feels good when the grout in the bathroom is bright again. And when the kitchen floor really looks clean after scrubbing, not just wiped over. A scrubbing brush that sits well in your hand turns an annoying chore into a job you finish quickly and thoroughly. You choose the stiffness to suit the surface. So you scrub hard where it's needed and gently where that's enough.

Material & finish

The brush body is made of beechwood. This firm natural material gives a good grip and feels pleasantly warm. It holds the bristles securely. As a natural product, every piece of wood has its own grain. No two brushes are exactly alike. Neat finishing and production in Germany mean the brush stands up well to frequent use. Depending on the model, the bristles are Thermo PET (medium), synthetic fibre (stiff) or Union (extra stiff). The brownish Union version is made of natural fibre and bassine. It is also alkali-resistant.

How to use the scrubbing brush

  • Spring cleaning in the bathroom: go over the tile grout with the stiff synthetic fibre brush. The grey film between the wall and floor tiles disappears.
  • In the kitchen: loosen dried-on grease splashes on the floor with the Thermo PET version and hot water. The bristles can take boiling water up to approx. 100 °C.
  • On stone floors in hallways, cellars or storerooms: use the extra stiff Union brush and soapy water to scrub away even stubborn dirt. The bristles are alkali-resistant.
  • In bakeries, cafés or catering: clean the floors in kitchens and storerooms thoroughly and quickly. It's a sturdy tool that keeps up with your daily cleaning routine.
  • In cupboards and on shelves: the medium brush loosens crusted dirt on shelf boards without rough scrubbing.

Good to know about the scrubbing brush

The “Union” bristle blend combines natural fibre and bassine. It's a classic among scrubbing brushes. It is very stiff and alkali-resistant. That's why it suits traditional floor cleaning with soapy water, where hard floors are scrubbed thoroughly. This method still works well today.

Care & durability

Care is simple. After use, rinse the bristles. Then leave the brush to dry with the bristles facing down. Don't leave it lying in water for long periods. That way the beechwood body keeps its shape for a long time. And the brush stays ready to use for years.

Frequently asked questions

Which stiffness suits which job? Thermo PET (medium) is good for everyday cleaning. Synthetic fibre (stiff) is for thorough scrubbing. The Union version (extra stiff) is for hard floors and stubborn dirt.

Can I use the brush with hot water? The Thermo PET version is heat-resistant for boiling water up to approx. 100 °C. The synthetic fibre version is slightly heat-resistant.

Can the brush be used with soapy water? Yes. The Union version made of natural fibre and bassine is alkali-resistant. So it's suitable for cleaning with soapy water.

Why does the wood look slightly different on each brush? The body is made of beechwood, a natural material with its own grain. Small differences in colour are not a flaw. They make every piece unique.

What counts is the moment you look across the freshly scrubbed floor and know: now it's really clean. Just choose the stiffness that suits your floors. Bütic delivers the right version.
