Dried-on stains on the stone tiles. Dark edges in the grout. And the wide deck scrubber just won't reach into the corner of the room. This pointed/round scrubbing brush is made for exactly these spots. The tapered shape works its way into edges and joins where ordinary scrubbing brushes can't reach. Tedious going-over turns into one thorough pass. And the floor looks freshly laid again.

What changes for you

  • You can get corners, grout lines and edges clean too. As a corner brush, the tapered shape reaches exactly where wide brushes can't.
  • You choose the right hardness for your dirt. There are three bristle versions: medium (Thermo PET), hard (synthetic fibre) and extra hard (Union).
  • You can apply real pressure on stubborn dirt. The sturdy beech wood body sits firmly in your hand and stands up to vigorous scrubbing.
  • You can scrub with boiling hot water when needed. The Thermo PET version is heat-resistant up to approx. 100 °C.
  • You can also clean with alkaline solutions and on hard floors. The Union version with extra hard bristles is alkali-resistant and made for stubborn dirt.

Why this scrubbing brush makes a difference every day

A clean is only really finished when the spots you tend to put off are clean too. The grout behind the sink. The join between floor and skirting board. The corner in the storeroom. With a brush shaped for exactly this, you deal with these spots in the same go. No special tools, no extra effort. The result is a floor that is clean throughout, from the kitchen to the last tile joint.

Material & finish

The brush body is made of beech wood. It is a firm, durable wood that feels pleasant to hold. It doesn't give even under vigorous scrubbing. Careful workmanship keeps the bristles firmly in place, so the brush lasts through many cleaning sessions. As a natural material, the wood shows its own grain and slight variations in colour. This is not a flaw but the sign of a genuine natural material. The brush is made in Germany.

How to use the scrubbing brush

  • Spring cleaning in the kitchen: run the tip along the tile grout. The grey lines between the wall and floor tiles become visibly lighter again.
  • On the stone floor in the hallway: trodden-in dirt from the winter? With the extra hard Union brush and an alkaline solution, you scrub it away strip by strip.
  • In cupboards and on shelves: the narrow shape also fits into tight compartments. So you wipe out the bottoms and edges in one go.
  • In a business – bakery, kitchen or storeroom: you clean greasy or dirty floors thoroughly with the Thermo PET version and boiling water. It is also resistant to alcohols, organic acids, solvents and fats.
  • At joins and skirting boards: where the deck scrubber gives up, you use the tip. The edge ends up just as clean as the rest of the floor.

Good to know about the root brush

The root brush gets its name from the root fibres its bristles were traditionally made from. They are a particularly tough natural material for heavy cleaning jobs. This tradition lives on here in the Union version made of fibre and bassine. Natural fibres, extra hard, for exactly the jobs where soft brushes give up.

Care & durability

There isn't much to do. After scrubbing, rinse the brush briefly and let it dry. It's best to stand it bristles down or lay it flat, so the beech wood body isn't left standing in water. Mind the heat resistance of the bristles: Thermo PET tolerates boiling water up to approx. 100 °C, synthetic fibre up to approx. 80 °C. That way your brush will last a long time.

Options & what's included

Frequently asked questions

Which hardness suits which job? Thermo PET (medium) for regular household cleaning. Synthetic fibre (hard) for more thorough scrubbing. Union (extra hard) for hard floors and ingrained dirt.

Can the brush handle hot water? The Thermo PET version is heat-resistant for boiling water up to approx. 100 °C. The synthetic fibre version is heat-resistant up to approx. 80 °C.

Can I reach into corners with it? Yes. Thanks to the tapered shape, you can use this model as a corner brush. It reaches edges and joins where wide scrubbing brushes can't get a grip.

Can I use alkaline cleaners? The brown Union version is alkali-resistant. So it's suitable for strong cleaning agents on hard floors.

What counts is the moment you look across the freshly scrubbed floor. And the last corner is clean too. Just choose the hardness that suits your floors and get started.
