The doorbell rings, and the delivery driver is standing at a row of bells with no names. A paper note is stuck to your bell, and it goes wavy in the first rain. With a self-adhesive engraved doorbell sign, your name is shown clearly and for good on your bell and letterbox.
The sign is made of 1.6 mm thick acrylic-based laminate. It is UV-resistant and made for indoor and outdoor use. The laser removes the top colour layer to reveal the text colour underneath. This means the lettering can neither peel off nor fade. Every sign is made in our own production in Pößneck.
There is not much you need to do. To clean it, a soft, damp cloth is all it takes.
Does the doorbell sign fit every holder? The sign is 1.6 mm thick. Some slide-in slots are only made for thin paper labels. It is best to measure your old sign and check the depth of the slot.
Is it suitable for illuminated name panels? No. The laminate does not let light through.
Can I stick it on in winter? Below about 10 °C the adhesive film does not stick well. Put the sign up on a mild day.
