We laser-cut these bases from HDF/MDF fibreboard in our own production in Pößneck (Thuringia). The edges are smooth, so the weaving material runs cleanly along them. Every base is carefully finished throughout. The board is untreated, so it is neither varnished nor glazed. Good to know: HDF is a high-density fibreboard made from pressed wood fibres. The fibres vary in shade and can show small irregularities. This makes every base unique – it is not a defect.
