Visitors are at the door, and there's still a yellowed scrap of paper stuck by the doorbell. With the retro doorbell sign with laser engraving, your name stays at the entrance for good. The inward-curved corners give it the vintage look of old door and name plates. The sign suits period homes and restored front doors well.

What changes for you

  • Your entrance looks cared for and personal. You choose the colour, font and text in the sign designer with preview.
  • You can put the sign up in minutes, with no drilling at all. On the back there's a strong 3M adhesive film.
  • You can fit several names too. Signs from 20 mm high have room for up to three lines.

Material & finish

The sign is made of 1.6 mm thick acrylic-based laminate. It's UV-resistant and made for indoor and outdoor use. In every size, the corners are curved inwards by 5 mm. The laser removes the top colour layer, revealing the text colour underneath. Every sign is made in our own production in Pößneck.

How to use the retro doorbell sign

  • On the doorbell button or next to the front door: peel off the protective film and press on. Visitors and delivery drivers find your name at a glance.
  • On the letterbox: stuck on, the sign makes it clear who lives where, especially in a block of flats.
  • As a family sign: with up to three lines, all names sit neatly one below the other.
  • Our tip for letterboxes with a slide-in slot: Leave the protective film on the adhesive side. Then you simply slide the sign in and can change it at any time.

Care & durability

There is not much you need to do. To clean it, a soft, damp cloth is all it takes.

Frequently asked questions

Does the retro sign fit every holder? The sign is 1.6 mm thick. Some slide-in slots are only made for thin paper labels. It's best to measure the old sign and check the depth of the slot.

Is it suitable for illuminated name panels? No. The laminate does not let light through.

Can I stick it on in winter? Below about 10 °C the adhesive film does not stick well. Put the sign up on a mild day.

Choose your size and colour, then design your text in the sign designer with preview.

Your legal guarantee rights

EU notice “Legal guarantee”: Minimum two-year legal guarantee protection for goods sold in the European Union. Consumers can claim their rights under the legal guarantee of conformity, for example if goods do not match the description or do not function as intended. Sellers are liable for any lack of conformity which existed when the goods were delivered, and which becomes apparent within the legal guarantee period. Sellers in such a situation are required to offer free repair or free replacement; in some cases, a price reduction or full reimbursement. Some countries have a longer legal guarantee period. For second-hand goods, a shorter period may apply, but not less than one year. For more information on your rights in a specific country, scan the QR code or ask the seller: europa.eu/youreurope/guarantees. What to do if you receive non-conforming goods: 1. Contact the seller as soon as possible to report the issue. 2. Provide proof of purchase, such as a receipt, invoice, or bank statement. Sellers and producers may also offer commercial guarantees, which apply independently from the legal guarantee. For example, you may see this GARAN label representing a commercial guarantee of durability offered by the producer at no additional cost and covering the entire good.
