The water in the drain is only trickling away, dirt has built up in the cellar pipe – and your short washing-up brush can't get anywhere near it. That's exactly what this one-metre pipe cleaning brush is made for: the flexible handle follows the line of the pipe, the coarse Arenga head scrubs the dirt out – and the water flows freely again, just as it should. A pipe brush that's long and bendable, as if made for awkward, winding pipework.

What changes for you

  • You can reach even deep-seated dirt without taking the pipe apart – thanks to the 1000 mm length and flexible, twisted wire handle.
  • You can shift even stubborn deposits – because the coarse, stiff Arenga bristles work hard against the pipe wall.
  • You can use the brush without worry in wet and oily conditions – the bristles are resistant to moisture, water, seawater and oil.
  • You can put it away quickly after use – the hanging loop at the end of the handle turns any hook into its own spot.
  • You only need one brush for lots of jobs – it cleans metal, plastic and glass pipes as well as vases and hoses.

Why this pipe cleaning brush makes a difference day to day

A blocked or sluggish pipe is one of those little annoyances you tend to put off – until it gets really unpleasant. With a flexible pipe cleaning brush to hand, you can sort it out yourself in a few minutes instead of improvising for ages. You'll notice the result straight away: a free flow, fewer smells and the good feeling of having it under control.

Material & finish

The brush head is made of black Arenga – a coarse, scratchy natural fibre that keeps its shape even in constant contact with water, seawater and oil. The twisted handle of galvanised wire is flexible enough for pipe bends, yet sturdy enough to put pressure on the dirt. Careful workmanship and manufacture in Germany mean this pipe brush lasts a long time, even with constant commercial use.

Dimensions & technical details

  • Length: 1000 mm
  • Brush material: Arenga, black

  • Hanging eyelet at the end of the handle

  • Made in Germany

How to use the pipe cleaning brush

  • At home: brush through drain and water pipes in the kitchen, bathroom or cellar – and the water drains away quickly again, without you having to reach for harsh chemicals.
  • For tall vases and narrow glass containers: reach right down to the bottom with the long brush – and green residue disappears where no sponge can reach.
  • For workshops and businesses: pull the pipe cleaning brush through hoses and pipes regularly. Deposits don't get a chance to build up, and you save yourself time-consuming maintenance.
  • In marine settings: thanks to its seawater resistance, it can also be used on boats or jetties – the bristles stay ready for work where other brushes quickly give up.

Good to know about Arenga

Arenga fibres come from the sugar palm and are among the toughest natural fibres there are: they barely swell in water and rot only very slowly, even when permanently wet. That's exactly why they have traditionally been used for brushes in wet areas – and exactly why this fibre is the right choice for a brush that does its job right inside a water pipe.

Care & durability

There's not much you need to do: after use, rinse the brush with clean water and hang it up by the loop so it can dry freely. As the Arenga bristles can cope with moisture, water and oil long term, the head stays firm and ready to use, even with regular use.

Can the brush cope with being permanently wet? Yes, the Arenga bristles are resistant to moisture, water, seawater and oil.

Is the handle flexible enough for pipe bends? Yes, the twisted galvanised wire handle is flexible and follows the line of the pipe.
