Why these straw tree decorations make a difference in everyday life
Among colourful baubles and twinkling lights, straw Christmas decorations offer a calm contrast. The light, delicate motifs bring a natural feel and a little nostalgia to the tree – just like you remember from years ago. When the fairy lights are on in the evening and the straw stars hang in their warm glow, the living room instantly feels a bit more like Christmas.
Material & finish
The sweetly designed motifs are made of straw. It's a light natural material that feels pleasant to the touch. It won't weigh down even delicate branches. Small variations in colour and texture are part of straw. They show the handmade character of these traditional Christmas tree decorations.

How to use the tree decorations
- On the Christmas tree: Spread the six straw stars across the branches and give the angel a place of honour. Your tree will look lovingly and traditionally decorated.
- On an Advent wreath or arrangement: A single straw star between fir branches and candles adds light, woven material to the arrangement.
- As a gift tag: Tie a star to the ribbon – and your parcel feels special even before it's unwrapped.
- In a café, bakery or at a market stall: Hang straw stars on the counter or in the shop window. You'll quickly have Christmas decorations made of natural material. They go well with bread, baked goods and other natural materials.
Good to know about straw stars
Straw stars are among the oldest kinds of Christmas tree decorations. The straw recalls the manger in Bethlehem, where the child lay on straw. That's exactly why straw angels and straw stars suit the Christmas tree so well. They don't just decorate – they tell part of the Christmas story too.
Care & durability
There's not much you need to do. After Christmas, store the tree decorations in a dry place and protect them from moisture. This way the stars and angel keep their light, natural look and are ready to use again next Advent.
