Outside, it gets dark early; inside, you want things to feel warm and calm. You put a pillar candle on the table, light it – and the whole room changes. These pillar candles made from pure plant-based stearin burn especially brightly, steadily and without any odour, as if made for winding down at a nicely laid table. Stearin candles stand for natural, renewable raw materials – and for a light that simply feels good.

What changes for you

  • You can enjoy candlelight without any unpleasant smells – because these stearin candles burn odourless and low in soot.
  • Your table instantly looks more festive, with very little decorating effort – thanks to the solid-colour candles with their marbled, web-like look.
  • No need to keep checking on them – the candles burn very steadily and, depending on their height, last approx. 15 to 28 hours.
  • You'll find the right shade for any table setting – because the candles come in lots of different colours.
  • You can light them with a clear conscience – the stearin comes 100% from renewable raw materials and exclusively from RSPO-certified producers.

Why these pillar candles make a difference every day

A burning candle brings calm to a room – at dinner, on the Advent wreath or simply on the windowsill. Because these stearin pillar candles burn brightly and evenly, there's no restless flickering, and you can focus entirely on your guests or your moment. That's how an ordinary evening turns into a cosy one.

Material & finish

The candles are made from pure plant-based stearin with a 100 % cotton wick. This gives a bright, steady flame with very little soot. They are dyed all the way through. The colour runs through the whole candle and stays evenly visible as it burns down. The marbled, web-like pattern is typical of stearin and different on every candle. You can see the clean workmanship as soon as you unpack them. The candles are made in Germany.

How to use the pillar candles

  • On the Advent wreath: four candles in your favourite colour – and every Sunday in the run-up to Christmas gets its own little highlight.
  • In a lantern on the patio or windowsill: the calm, bright light creates atmosphere without you having to keep an eye on it all the time.
  • On a festively laid table: one candle in the centre of each table, matched in colour to the napkins and tableware. This way the arrangement looks planned as a whole rather than thrown together.
  • In festive arrangements: the solid-colour candles keep their colour right to the end and still look neat even after hours of burning.
  • In cafés or restaurants: odourless, low-soot candles on every table create atmosphere without affecting food or the air in the room – and the long burn time means you don't have to replace them as often.

Good to know about stearin

Stearin is made from plant fats, which makes it a renewable raw material – unlike paraffin, which comes from crude oil. Stearin candles are known for their bright, steady burn and their slightly marbled surface. So if natural materials matter to you at home, these candles suit you just as well as a beechwood board.
