The Rod of Asclepius is laser-cut from a 3 mm high-density fibreboard (HDF/MDF). It is made in our own production at Bütic in Pößneck, Thuringia. The edges are smooth and the finish is clean. You can pick up the shape and start designing right away. The board is untreated, so it is neither varnished nor glazed. Paints, glues and glazes adhere well to the surface. Good to know: wood fibres naturally vary in shade and can show small irregularities. This is not a defect. It makes every piece one of a kind.
