What changes for you
- Your window, wreath or gift is decorated straight away. The dragonfly is laser-cut from plywood with its typical brown edge. It arrives ready to use.
- You'll find the right format for every idea, with no compromises. Sizes range from 3 to 50 cm wingspan in 1 cm steps.
- You can also use it when crafting with children. The bronze glaze meets the requirements of DIN EN 71-3.
- You have a free hand with the design. The back is natural and untreated. That makes it ideal for painting, writing on or sticking things to.
- You can decorate on a larger scale without extra effort. The dragonfly is available singly or in sets of 10, 25, 50 or 100.
Why this wooden dragonfly makes a difference every day
Decorations work best when they don't look stuck on but belong to the room. The bronze glaze has a warm shimmer. Depending on the light, the wood grain still shows through. So the natural look of the wood stays visible instead of disappearing under paint. In the window, on the laid table or at the shop counter, the dragonfly fits in quietly without dominating.
Material & finish
The dragonfly is laser-cut from 3 mm plywood. This gives smooth edges, precise contours and the typical brown edge that adds depth to the motif. The front has a bronze glaze, the back is left natural. Wood is a purely natural material. It varies in shade and can show small knots or variations in the grain. This is not a flaw – it's exactly what makes each dragonfly one of a kind. It is made in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia.

How to use the wooden dragonfly
- In the window in spring: hang up a few dragonflies in different sizes. The view outside will feel like the first day of summer.
- Crafting with children: let them paint the natural back. Each child designs their own dragonfly, and you have a relaxed afternoon project.
- On the festive table: a small dragonfly on every place card. Your guests find their seat and have something to take home.
- On the door wreath: a large dragonfly between twigs and flowers. Your wreath gets a motif that sets it apart from the usual.
- In your shop: spread several dragonflies across the shop window. Your seasonal display is ready in minutes and catches attention without lengthy arranging. With sets of 10 or more, you can also decorate larger areas in one go.
- For money gifts or card decorations: stick the dragonfly on a greetings card or tie it to the gift ribbon. It's quick to do and individual.
Good to know about the dragonfly
In many cultures, the dragonfly is a symbol of lightness, change and new beginnings. In Japan, it traditionally even stands for good luck. So the motif suits more than spring decorations. It also fits occasions that mark a new chapter: greetings cards, gifts for starting school or moving house.
Care & durability
There's not much you need to do. Dust it with a dry cloth now and then to keep the bronze surface shimmering. The back is untreated, so the dragonfly is best kept dry. Avoid constant moisture, and you'll enjoy it for many seasons.
