On top is a clear, satin water-based lacquer that keeps the natural wood grain visible. Wood is a natural material. Differences in shade, fine textures and small knots are part of it. This makes every piece unique and is not a flaw. The laser cut gives smooth edges and a clean finish, so you can work with the pieces right away.
