Material & finish

The cutouts are made from 3 mm thick, high-density HDF/MDF fibreboard. It is sturdy enough for the wall and easy to work with. The laser cut gives smooth edges and the typical brown rim, which traces the contours with a fine line. As the board is untreated, paint, varnish and glue adhere well. You can start decorating straight away. Fibreboard always shows fibres of varying lightness and small irregularities. This makes each piece one of a kind and is not a defect. The cutouts are made in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia.
