Material & finish

Each egg is made of 3 mm plywood and feels pleasantly light in your hand. The front has a dark blue stain. Depending on the light, the wood grain and small knots still show through. This makes each piece one of a kind – it is not a flaw. The back is left natural and untreated, ideal for painting and decorating. Laser cutting creates the typical fine brown edge, which gives the egg a clear outline. The cutouts are made in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia.
