The heart is made of 3 mm birch plywood and laser-cut in our own production in Pößneck. This also creates the typical fine brown edge. Both sides are painted dark red. So the heart looks the same from the front and the back, for example as a tag that can be seen from both sides. Wood is a purely natural material. It varies in shade, shows different textures and may have small knots or slight irregularities in the grain. This is what makes every heart unique. It is not a flaw, but simply the nature of the material.
