The cutout is made from 3 mm HDF/MDF fibreboard. It is highly compressed, so it keeps its shape without feeling heavy. The board is left natural, not varnished and not glazed. You can stick things on it, coat it or paint it, just as your project needs. Fibreboard is made from pressed fibres. So the fibres vary in shade and may show small irregularities. This makes every piece one of a kind. The ECG line is made in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia. It is cleanly finished with smooth, laser-cut edges.

Can I paint the ECG line or stick things on it? Yes. The board is untreated, neither varnished nor glazed. You can coat it, paint it or stick things on it.

How tall is the line at the width I choose? For reference: at a width of 10 cm, the height is 9.5 cm. The height grows in proportion to the width you choose.

Why don't all the cutouts look exactly the same? HDF boards are made from pressed wood fibres. These vary in shade and may show small irregularities. This is not a defect. It makes every piece unique.

Are the edges smooth? Yes. The cutout is laser-cut and therefore has smooth edges. No sanding is needed.

Can I return the item? No. Every cutout is made in the size ordered after purchase. A return is therefore not possible.
