The christening is coming up. The children's party is planned. Or you are simply looking for an idea for the next craft afternoon with the kids. And you still need a shape that is easy to decorate. This MDF foot is made for exactly that. It is a clear foot silhouette made of untreated wood-based material. You can paint it, stick things on it or write on it. That is how a plain blank becomes your own decoration.

What changes for you

  • You can start crafting straight away without sanding first. The foot is laser-cut, so it has smooth, clean edges.
  • Your decoration fits your plans exactly, from small scatter pieces to large stand-up figures. You can choose any height from 3 to 50 cm in 1 cm steps.
  • You can decorate it however you like with paint, napkin decoupage, oil or glue. The HDF is untreated and takes any finish well.
  • You have enough in stock for bigger projects too, such as birthdays, christenings or crafting with children. Sets of 10, 25, 50 or 100 pieces are available.
  • You get even cutouts of identical shape with clean edges. Every foot is made in our own production in Pößneck.

Why this MDF foot makes a difference in everyday life

A ready-made silhouette takes care of the hardest part for you: the sawing. You can focus on the fun part. Designing, painting, decorating. And you get a result you can be proud of more quickly. When crafting with children, the clear shape means every piece is recognisable and ready to show off at the end.

Material & finish

The foot is made of 3 mm HDF. This is a wood-based board made from pressed wood fibres. It stays flat and keeps its shape as you work with it. Laser cutting leaves smooth edges. You can use the blank straight away without any sanding. The surface is untreated, so it is neither varnished nor glazed. That makes it ideal for painting, oiling or covering. As with any natural material, the shade and texture may vary slightly, and small irregularities can occur. This makes every piece one of a kind. HDF is a fibreboard like MDF, only more densely compressed. This makes it harder, and it stays stable even when thin.

How to use the MDF foot

  • For a birth or christening: write the name and date on the foot. You will have a personal keepsake that reminds you of the big day for a long time.
  • Crafting with children: each child paints their own foot. At the end, they proudly take home a finished work of art.
  • For party decorations: scatter small 3 or 5 cm feet across the table or glue them onto invitations. Everyone can see the theme at first glance.
  • At nursery or in a club: with a set of 25, 50 or 100 pieces, the whole group can work on the same project. You don't have to saw out each piece yourself.
  • In a shop window or shop, for example at a chiropodist, shoe shop or practice: a large foot up to 50 cm high, painted to match your interior, shows your theme from outside.

Good to know about the foot

Footprints have always stood for leaving a mark. From a baby's first footprint in the family album to the saying about following in someone's footsteps. That is why the foot silhouette suits a birth, christening or birthday especially well. It also works as a keepsake when leaving nursery or school.

Care & durability

There isn't much you need to do. Simply store the untreated cutout in a dry place and avoid constant moisture. This keeps the surface flat and ready to decorate at any time. A coat of paint or a sealant makes your finished decoration more durable.

Frequently asked questions

Can I paint the MDF foot? Yes. The material is untreated. You can paint it, oil it, stick things on it or decorate it in other ways.

Do I need to sand the edges? No. The foot is laser-cut and has smooth edges. You can start decorating straight away.

Do all cutouts look exactly the same? The shape is identical. However, the wood-fibre surface may vary slightly in brightness and texture. This is typical of the natural material and makes every piece unique.

Which sizes and quantities are available? You choose the height from 3 to 50 cm in 1 cm steps. You can order single pieces or sets of 10, 25, 50 or 100.

A plain HDF blank becomes whatever you have in mind. It could be a painted child's foot on the fridge, a name sign for a christening or a garland for a party. Just choose your size and quantity and get started.
