Why these wooden Easter eggs make a difference in everyday life
Real eggs are fragile, and plastic decorations can look generic. A wooden Easter egg feels pleasant in your hand and brings a calm, natural look to your spring decorations. You can bring the eggs out year after year and add new designs. Bit by bit, you build your own Easter tradition. Depending on the light, the grain and small knots show through the yellow glaze. So you can see that every piece is made of real wood.
Material & finish
The Easter eggs are laser-cut from 3 mm plywood in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia. The laser cut gives smooth edges and precise shapes. You can start decorating right away, with no sanding needed. The yellow glaze on the front is applied with care. Depending on the light, it lets the natural wood grain show through. The back stays natural and untreated, ideal for painting or decorating. Wood is a natural material. Different shades, fine textures and small knots are part of it. This makes every egg one of a kind, not faulty.

- On a crafting afternoon: the children paint the natural back with dots and stripes. Then they proudly hang their own artwork in the window.
- On an Easter tree: drill a small hole, thread a ribbon through and hang up eggs in different sizes. The branch in the vase fills your living room with an Easter look.
- On the Easter table: place a small egg at each setting as a table decoration. Your guests have something to smile about even before breakfast.
- As a window picture: decorate several large eggs with tissue paper or paint. Spring then greets everyone who walks past.
- In a café or at the bakery counter: decorate a wreath or your display with yellow eggs. Your counter has a seasonal look in just a few minutes, with little effort.
- For nursery or school projects: with sets of up to 100 pieces, every child gets their own egg. And you don't have to cut anything out in advance.
Good to know about the Easter egg
For centuries, the egg has been a symbol of new life and fertility. That's why it is still part of Easter today. Unlike dyed real eggs, wooden eggs last for many years. Simply pack them away after Easter and bring them out again next spring, undamaged.
Care & durability
There isn't much to do. Wipe the eggs with a dry cloth when needed and store them somewhere dry. Avoid constant moisture, as wood is a natural material. That way, your Easter eggs keep their colour and shape for many years.
