Material & finish

Each sun is laser-cut from 3 mm plywood. This gives it the typical brown edge, which outlines the motif with a fine contour. Depending on the light, the yellow glaze on the front lets the wood grain and small knots show through. Wood is a purely natural material. These very differences make every piece unique. The back is left natural and untreated, so you can decorate it however you like. The suns are made in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia. Each one is neatly finished.
