Not sure which to choose? With a Bütic gift voucher you can never get it wrong.Outside, the days are slowly getting brighter. The windowsill still looks a little bare. It needs a splash of colour that brings spring into the house. A yellow wooden butterfly brings exactly that lightness. Use it as a single motif on your door wreath, as table scatter at a coffee party or in a large size on the wall. In warm yellow and with the fine grain of the wood, it looks made for your spring window.
What changes for you
- Your window, door wreath or table looks like spring straight away, without lots of decorating. Just lay out or hang up a few butterflies.
- You'll find the right size for every idea. The wingspan can be chosen from 3 to 50 cm in 1 cm steps. That covers everything from dainty table scatter to large wall decorations.
- You can start crafting straight away. The laser-cut edges are smooth and precise. No sanding, no finishing work.
- You can rely on the finish. The yellow glaze meets the requirements of DIN EN 71-3.
- You're free to design it your way. The back is left natural and untreated. It's ideal for painting, writing on or decorating with stickers.
Why this wooden butterfly makes a difference every day
Decorations made of real wood bring a calm to a room that paper or plastic rarely achieve. The warm yellow lifts the heaviness of the grey in-between season. Depending on the light, the wood grain even shimmers through. This makes every windowsill look lovingly decorated. You might hang up just one butterfly or arrange a whole swarm. Either way, the shapes repeat without overlapping.
Material & finish
Every butterfly is laser-cut from 3 mm plywood. That's why the edges are smooth and precise, with the typical brown rim that gives the motif a clear outline. The front has a yellow glaze. Depending on the light, the grain and small knots still show through. The back is left natural. Wood is a purely natural material. Variations in shade, fine textures and small knots are part of it and make every piece unique. The butterflies are made in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia.

Good to know about the butterfly
