Each wooden sun is laser-cut from 3 mm plywood. This gives smooth, precise edges and the typical brown rim that outlines the shape nicely. The front has a golden glaze. Depending on the light, the grain and small knots show through. The back is left natural and untreated. Wood is a natural material. Variations in shade, fine textures and small knots are part of it and make every piece unique. The suns are made in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia.
