The tree is up and the candles are lit. But your window and wall are still missing their golden stars. Golden wooden stars bring exactly this warm glow into your home. Hang them one by one or combine several sizes into a twinkling starry sky. It recalls a clear night. They are just right for your window at Christmas time. And for the children's room all year round.

What changes for you

  • Your window or wall gets an instant festive glow – because the gold glaze catches the light and, depending on how the light falls, even lets the wood grain shine through.
  • You can create your starry sky exactly the way you picture it – with a width you can choose freely from 3 to 50 cm in 1 cm steps.
  • You can hang the stars in a children's room too. The glaze meets the requirements of DIN EN 71-3.
  • You get clean, neat material for crafting and decorating – because every star is laser-cut, giving it smooth edges and a precise shape.
  • If you want to decorate them yourself, there's no need to prime the back – it's left natural and untreated, ready for painting or sticking things on.

Why gold wooden stars make a difference in everyday life

Golden stars as decoration look different from glitter foil or plastic. The wood gives a matt surface that is pleasant to the touch. The golden tone adds the shine. Together they create a calm, understated look instead of garish effects. Hang several sizes together on a wall or window and you get a golden sky. It makes any room a little cosier. No two stars are identical in every detail. So your decoration has a character that mass-produced goods simply don't have.

Material & finish

Each star is laser-cut from 3 mm plywood. This gives smooth, precise edges with the typical brown rim. The rim frames the golden tone. We use a good-quality golden glaze on the front. Depending on the light, you can see the grain and small knots through it. This is not a flaw. It is the sign of a genuine natural material and makes every piece unique. The back is left natural. The stars are made in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia.

How to use the gold wooden stars

  • In the window at Christmas: hang several sizes at different heights – and a golden starry sky will shine out at you from both outside and in.
  • In the nursery: spread stars across the wall above the bed – and looking up feels like gazing into a clear night sky.
  • Crafting with children: paint the natural back or stick things on it – and every star becomes a small, handmade gift.
  • On the festive table: a small star at each place setting or on the gift ribbon – and the table looks lovingly prepared without much effort.
  • In the shop, café or at the Christmas market: put stars in the shop window or on the counter – the decorations are quick to set up, reusable and, thanks to sets of 10, 25, 50 or 100, easy to budget for even larger areas.

Good to know about the star

The star is one of the oldest symbols of Christmas: it recalls the Star of Bethlehem, which, according to tradition, showed the way to the manger. That's why gold stars suit not only the window and the tree, but also Advent celebrations, nativity plays and decorating presents.

Care & durability

There's not much you need to do: an occasional dry dusting is enough to keep the gold tone looking lovely for a long time. Avoid prolonged damp and wet – plywood is a natural material and is happiest kept dry. That way, the stars will be with you for many Christmases to come.

  • Width of your choice: 3 cm to 50 cm, in 1 cm steps
  • Available individually or in sets of 10, 25, 50 or 100

Frequently asked questions

Is the golden glaze safe? Yes, it meets the requirements of DIN EN 71-3. So it is also suitable for decorations in a children's room.

Is the back gold too? No, only the front is lacquered. The back is natural and untreated – ideal if you'd like to paint it or stick things on it yourself.

Why can I see grain or small knots? Wood is a purely natural material with varying textures and shades. That's exactly what makes every star one of a kind.

Where does the brown rim on the edges come from? The stars are laser-cut – the brown rim is typical of this cutting method and also ensures smooth, precise edges.

In the end, it's not about plywood and glaze. It's about the moment you dim the lights in the evening and your own golden starry sky fills the room with light. Simply choose your sizes and quantities – and start creating.
