Every Easter egg is laser-cut from 3 mm plywood in our own production in Pößneck. That is where the typical fine brown rim on the edges comes from. The grey stain is applied with care. Depending on the light, the wood grain and small knots show through. This is not a flaw but the nature of a natural material: every piece is unique. Only the front is stained. The back stays natural and untreated – ideal if you want to paint or decorate it yourself.
