The table for the christening is laid, but the table scatter is still missing. Or you're sitting at the craft table with the children and want a motif that looks like summer straight away. This grey wooden plumeria is made for moments like these. It's a delicate flower cut from plywood. You can simply lay it out, glue it on or decorate it further however you like. With just a few steps, you create a decoration that looks calm and natural.

What changes for you

  • You can decorate your table, windowsill or gifts straight out of the packet. The flowers arrive as finished cutouts, so there's nothing to saw or trim.
  • Your decorations look coordinated rather than thrown together. With sizes from 2 to 10 cm, you can combine small and large flowers into a matching arrangement.
  • You can craft with children with peace of mind. The grey glaze meets the requirements of DIN EN 71-3.
  • You have a free hand with the design. The back is left natural and untreated, so you can paint it, write on it or stick things to it.
  • You get exactly the quantity you need. Choose 10 pieces for gift decorations or 100 pieces for a large table display or your shop counter.

Why this wooden plumeria makes a difference day to day

One flower on the charger plate, a few scattered across the table. The table looks lovingly prepared, and you don't have to spend long decorating. The warm grey stays in the background. It suits almost any colour scheme, from natural tones to bold colours. Instead of short-lived paper decorations, you have a piece of wood that you can use again and again.

Material & finish

The flowers are laser-cut from 3 mm plywood. This gives smooth edges, precise shapes and the typical brown edge that gives each flower its character. The grey glaze on the front is evenly applied. Depending on the light, the wood grain and small knots show through. That's exactly what creates the natural look. Wood is a natural material. Each flower varies slightly in shade and texture. Small irregularities in the grain are not a flaw. They make every piece one of a kind. The cutouts are made in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia.

How to use the wooden plumeria

  • At a summer party: Scatter a few flowers loosely across the table. It instantly brings a touch of the South Seas, with no time spent arranging.
  • Crafting with children: Paint the natural back and write names on it. Each child takes their own little creation home.
  • On gifts and cards: Glue on a flower, and the gift looks individually designed rather than quickly wrapped.
  • In a café or at a market stall: Place flowers on price tags, in the display or on the counter. Your goods are lovingly presented, and setting up only takes minutes.
  • In floristry and room decoration: Add flowers to arrangements and wreaths or lay them on the windowsill. The understated grey blends in with other materials and colours.

Good to know about the plumeria

The plumeria, also known as frangipani, is the classic flower of Hawaiian leis. There it stands for hospitality and a warm welcome. That's why it's such a good fit for summer parties, garden parties and any table decoration you use to welcome guests.

Care & durability

There's not much you need to do. Store the flowers in a dry place and keep them away from constant moisture. Otherwise the untreated back will absorb water. This way the cutouts keep their shape for a long time. The glaze keeps its calm, even look. You can bring them out again season after season.

Frequently asked questions

Is the glaze suitable for crafting with children? Yes, the grey glaze meets the requirements of DIN EN 71-3.

Are both sides grey? No, only the front is glazed. The back is left natural and untreated. That's ideal if you'd like to paint it or stick things to it yourself.

Where does the dark edge come from? The flowers are laser-cut. This creates the typical brown edge. The process also gives smooth edges and precise shapes.

Do all the flowers look exactly the same? The shape is precise, but wood is a natural material. Grain, shade and small knots vary slightly, so every flower is one of a kind.

A wooden cutout is only the start. What counts is the moment your guests come to the laid table and spot the little flowers. That's when you know the few minutes of effort were worth it. Just choose your size and set quantity and get started.
