Material & finish

The cloud is made from 3 mm plywood and laser-cut in our own production in Pößneck. That's where the smooth edges come from, with the typical brown rim that gives the motif a finely drawn outline. The front has a carefully applied grey stain. Depending on the light, the grain and small knots still show through. The back is left natural and untreated. Wood is a natural material. Brightness, texture and small knots vary a little from piece to piece. That's what makes every cloud one of a kind.

How to use the wooden cloud

• In a child's room: hang several clouds in different sizes above the bed. A blank wall turns into a little sky.
• For a birth or christening: write the name and date on the cloud and tie it to a gift. The wrapping becomes a keepsake in itself.
• Crafting with children: let them paint the natural back. Every child takes home their own cloud picture.
