Advent is just around the corner and your craft supplies are ready. All that's missing is the right motif. This green 8-point wooden star is a cutout made for your next decorating idea. The front has a rich green glaze. The back is left natural. It's ready to hang up, stick on or decorate further. A loose idea quickly becomes a window decoration, a gift tag or a whole sky full of stars.

What changes for you

  • You can skip the sawing and painting. Every 8-point star arrives laser-cut, cut precisely to size and glazed green on the front.
  • You'll find exactly the size you need. Choose anything from a small table scatter star to a large 50 cm wooden star for a window or wall. The height can be set freely from 3 to 50 cm in 1 cm steps.
  • You can craft with children too. The green glaze meets the requirements of DIN EN 71-3.
  • The back is yours to paint, write on and decorate. It stays natural and untreated.
  • You can order large projects in one go. Buy singly or in sets of 10, 25, 50 or 100.

Why this wooden star makes a difference every day

Ready-cut motifs take care of the tedious part and leave you the fun part: decorating. Instead of spending hours sawing and priming, you hang the stars up, stick them on cards or string them into a garland. You're done in no time. All the stars are cut to exactly the same size. So even a larger display looks calm and consistent.

Material & finish

Each star is laser-cut from 3mm plywood. This gives it the typical brown edge, which outlines the motif clearly and finely. The edges are smooth and the cutout is precise. You can feel it when you hold it and see it when you hang it up. The green glaze covers well. Depending on the light, the grain and small knots still show through. Wood is a purely natural material, and these features make every piece unique. The stars are made in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia.

How to use your wooden star

  • During Advent: thread several small stars onto a string. You'll have a garland in the window that builds a little more excitement every day.
  • When wrapping presents: tie a star to the ribbon as a tag. Even the plainest parcel looks lovingly made.
  • At the craft table with children: the natural back gets painted, decorated and covered in glitter. Every child takes home their own one-of-a-kind star.
  • A 50 cm wooden star on a wall or in a shop window instantly gives the room a festive centrepiece.
  • In a café, bakery or at a market stall: the stars in sets of 10, 25, 50 or 100 decorate counters, shelves and price tags in a uniform way. They're quick to put up and look tidy all season long.

Good to know about the 8-point star

The eight-pointed star has a firm place in Christmas tradition. For centuries, the Star of Bethlehem has often been shown with eight points. That's why this motif suits Advent and Christmas decorations so well. Use it for the nativity scene, a window picture or decorating presents.

Care & durability

There's not much to do. An occasional dry dusting is enough. The back is untreated, so it's best to keep the stars away from water and constant damp. That way, their shape and colour will look good for a long time.

Options & what's included

  • Height of your choice: 3cm to 50cm, in 1cm steps
  • Available individually or in sets of 10, 25, 50 or 100
  • Every star: top glazed green, back left natural

Frequently asked questions

Does the green glaze meet toy safety standards? Yes, it meets the requirements of DIN EN 71-3. It's also suitable for crafts with children.

Are both sides glazed? No, only the front is glazed green. The back is natural and untreated. It's ideal for painting and decorating.

Why does the star have a brown edge? The stars are laser-cut. This creates the typical brown edge. It also gives smooth, precise edges.

Do all the stars look exactly the same? The shape is exactly the same, but wood is a natural material. Depending on the light, the grain and small knots show through the glaze. Every piece is unique.

How wide is the star? Height and width are the same. A star that is 10cm high from point to point is also 10cm wide.

What really counts isn't a wooden cutout with eight points. It's the moment your garland hangs in the window, the light falls through the stars and your home looks like Advent. Just choose your size and quantity. You'll design the rest.
