No need to cut out outlines by hand. You get a ready-made, sturdy silhouette and can focus on decorating. At the craft table with the children, when getting ready for a party or when decorating the shop counter: the shape is ready to use straight away. It looks planned, not improvised. A simple idea quickly becomes a gift tag, a wedding favour or a picture for the wall that tells stories of the Elbe.
Material & finish
The solid bookbinding board is 1.2 mm thick and weighs 755 g/m². It is pleasantly sturdy. It holds up to your projects without bending and is still easy to work with. The surface is smooth and untreated, so it reliably takes paint, varnish and glue. The brown edges come from the laser cutting and give each cutout its typical look. Every piece is made in our own production at Bütic in Pößneck, Thuringia. It is neatly finished and made from 100 % recycled material.

Good to know about Hamburg
Hamburg's official name is the "Free and Hanseatic City". As a city-state, it is both a city and a federal state. This is what makes its outline so distinctive. That is why the silhouette suits everyone with a connection to the city. Use it for guest gifts, moving-house greetings or decorations with a maritime theme.
Care & durability
There is not much to do. Store the cutout in a dry place and protect it from constant moisture. The untreated board will then keep its shape and smooth surface for a long time. Once painted or varnished, the surface is protected even more.
