The invitations for the children's party are on the table. They just need one small detail to stand out. A light blue wooden car is made for the job. It's small, cute and ready to use. Glue it on, hang it up or use it as table scatter. This plywood car silhouette brings a smile to cards, windows and tables.

What changes for you

  • You can decorate cards, gifts and windows without lots of preparation. The car arrives laser-cut and finished with a light blue glaze.
  • You get exactly the size that suits your project – you can choose any width from 3 to 50 cm in 1 cm steps.
  • You can use the motif in a child's room. The glaze meets the requirements of DIN EN 71-3.
  • No sawing or sanding needed. The laser-cut edges are smooth and precise.
  • You have complete creative freedom – the natural, untreated back can be painted, written on or decorated with stickers.

Why this wooden car makes a difference in everyday life

A motif made of real wood feels different from printed paper. It's warmer, more tactile and more personal. Stick the light blue car on a greeting card or hang it in the window. It fits right in with the rest of your design. And you don't need to spend long crafting. You choose the size yourself. So the motif suits a small card just as well as a large nursery wall.

Material & finish

The car is laser-cut from 3 mm plywood. This gives it the typical brown edge, which creates a clear outline. The light blue glaze covers well. Depending on the light, the wood grain and small knots still show through. That makes every piece one of a kind. Only the front is glazed. The back is left natural and untreated. Glue sticks well to it, and you can apply your own paints directly. Every car is made in our own production at Bütic in Pößneck, Thuringia.

How to use the wooden car

  • At a children's party: Scatter small cars across the table as table scatter – and the birthday table looks festive in minutes.
  • For greeting cards: Stick on a 3 or 5 cm car – and a plain card becomes a personal greeting, for example for passing a driving test.
  • In the nursery: Hang several cars in the window – and the room has decorations that grow with your child and can be rearranged again and again.
  • Crafting with children: Let them paint the natural back – and every child takes home their own work of art.
  • In a shop or shop window: Use large cars up to 50 cm wide. They're quick to put up, easy to take down and clearly recognisable from a distance.

Care & durability

There's not much you need to do. Keep the wooden car dry and away from constant moisture. Then the natural material keeps its shape and the light blue surface keeps its cheerful colour for a long time. A dry cloth is all you need for dusting.

Frequently asked questions

Is the stain suitable for children? Yes, the light blue stain meets the requirements of DIN EN 71-3.

Are both sides glazed? No, only the front has a light blue glaze. The back is left natural and untreated – ideal for gluing or painting yourself.

Where does the brown edge come from? The car is laser-cut. The brown edge is typical of this process. It also gives you smooth, precise edges.

Does every car look exactly the same? Wood is a purely natural material. Shade, grain and small knots vary slightly. That's what makes every piece one of a kind.

Can I paint or decorate the car myself? Yes. The untreated back in particular takes paint and glue well. You can design it however you like.

What counts is not the piece of plywood. It's the moment the card makes someone smile as they open it. Or the moment the birthday table is fully decorated. Simply choose your size and quantity. The little light blue car takes care of the rest.
