Why this wooden fir tree makes a difference every day
Shop-bought decorations often look generic. A wooden blank, on the other hand, becomes your own piece. Use it as table scatter on the festive table, as a motif in a window picture or stuck onto a home-made gift. The little fir tree fits quietly into your Christmas decorations without taking over. And because you make it yourself, every finished piece has a bit of you in it.
Material & finish
The fir tree is laser-cut from 3 mm plywood. This gives the smooth, exact edges and the typical brown edge that outlines the shape. The light green stain is applied with care. Depending on the light, it lets the wood grain and small knots show through. This makes every piece one of a kind, because wood is a natural material with different textures and shades. Only the front is stained. The back is left natural and untreated. Every fir tree is made in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia.

Good to know about the fir tree
For centuries, the fir tree has stood for constancy and life in the middle of winter. This is where the Christmas tree tradition we know today comes from. As a flat wooden shape, you can bring this symbol where there is no room for a real tree: onto a card, into the window or onto the festive table.
