Why this wooden gecko makes a difference
Ready-made plastic decorations often look interchangeable. A motif made of real wood brings a natural look to your designs. Use it as table scatter on the birthday table, on homemade cards or as a lizard in a window picture. The plywood gecko lies flat, is easy to glue on and sits well in your hand. It comes in different sizes, so you can arrange whole gecko families. Choose anything from the small 4 cm gecko to the 10 cm gecko.
Material & finish
The gecko is laser-cut from 3 mm plywood. This gives it the typical fine, brown burnt edge. The edge frames the motif neatly and keeps the outline sharp. The front has a light green stain. The back is left natural and untreated. Every cutout is made in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia. Wood is a natural material. Small knots, different shades and fine structures in the grain are part of it. That is what makes every gecko unique. No two pieces are the same.

Good to know about the gecko
In many southern countries the gecko is seen as a lucky charm and protector of the home. There you find it as a motif on house walls, doors and souvenirs. That is why the little wooden gecko also works as a lucky symbol on cards, as a guest gift or as a holiday memento with a Mediterranean feel.
Care & durability
There's not much you need to do. If needed, simply wipe it dry or dust it. The back is untreated, so the gecko is best kept in dry indoor rooms. Avoid constant moisture. Then the stain stays as fresh as on the first day for a long time.
