You're about to sit down at the craft table. Paints and glue are ready. All that's missing is the blank that turns your idea into something you can hold. This light green 8-point wooden star is made for exactly that. It's a ready-stained wooden cutout, just right for your next craft afternoon. No sawing, no priming – you can start straight away. Decorate it, embellish it or paint it.

What changes for you

  • You skip priming and painting, because the front is already stained a friendly light green. Unpack it, hang it up or keep designing.
  • You can craft with children without worry. The stain meets the requirements of DIN EN 71-3.
  • Your project gets exactly the right size, because you choose the height from 3 to 50 cm in 1 cm steps. From a small table scatter star to a large window decoration.
  • You design the back just the way you like. It is left natural and untreated – ideal for painting, writing on or sticking things on.
  • Your decorations look like a matching set rather than thrown together. Every star is laser-cut, accurate to size and has smooth edges.

Why this wooden star makes a difference every day

Shop-bought decorations often look generic. Things you make yourself say something about you and your home. With a blank that is already coloured and neatly finished, you reach a result you're happy to show off more quickly. The soft light green suits windows, tables or gifts without being loud. It works for many occasions.

Material & finish

The star is made of 3 mm plywood and laser-cut in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia. That's where the smooth, accurate edges come from. Laser cutting also leaves the typical brown edge, which gives the star its handmade look. The light green stain is applied with care. Depending on the light, it lets the wood grain and small knots show through. Wood is a purely natural material. Every piece varies slightly in shade and texture. That makes each star unique – it is not a flaw.

How to use your wooden star

  • Making Christmas decorations during Advent: hang a few stars in different sizes in the window or on a branch. The room instantly looks festive without feeling cluttered.
  • Crafting with children: the natural back is perfect for painting and sticking things on. At the end, every child proudly holds their very own star.
  • Making an advent calendar: use small stars as number tags on the little bags. Your calendar gets a loving, consistent look.
  • Crafting money gifts: use the star as a tag or card decoration. It turns an envelope into a gift people remember.
  • In a café, bakery or at a market stall: add a price tag or lettering on the back. Your counter and display are quickly dressed for the season – tidy, reusable and set up in a few minutes.

Good to know about the eight-pointed star

The eight-pointed star has long been a symbol of guidance and new beginnings. In Christian tradition, the Star of Bethlehem is also often shown with eight rays. That's why this star doesn't just suit Christmas crafts. It also fits christenings, births and any occasion that celebrates a new chapter.

Care & durability

There's not much to do: simply wipe off dust with a dry cloth, and that's it. Wood is a natural material and the back is untreated. So please protect the star from constant moisture. That way it keeps its colour and shape for many seasons.

Frequently asked questions

Can I paint the star or stick things on it? Yes. The back is left natural and untreated. It works well for painting, writing on and decorating.

Is the stain suitable for crafting with children? Yes. The light green stain meets the requirements of DIN EN 71-3.

Why does the star have a brown edge? The star is laser-cut. The brown edge forms naturally in the process. Laser cutting also gives smooth, accurate edges.

Are both sides stained? No, only the front is stained light green. The back is deliberately left natural.

Do all stars look exactly the same? The shape is accurate to size, but wood is a natural material. Grain, shade and small knots vary slightly – every piece is unique.

A light green wooden cutout is only the start. What counts is the moment when a few stars, some paint and an afternoon together become decorations that really look like you. Just choose your size and quantity – and get started.
