Wood is a purely natural material, so every heart turns out slightly differently. Small knots and varying textures are part of it and make each piece one of a kind – not a flaw, but character. Every heart comes from our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia/Germany.

Is the heart lacquered on both sides? Yes, both sides are lacquered red and additionally sealed with a clear satin-matt finish – so you can hang the heart freely or use it with both sides on show.

Do all the hearts look the same? Not quite: wood is a natural material with varying grain and small knots. The clear lacquer deliberately keeps these features visible – every heart is unique.

How do height and width relate to each other? Height and width are the same. If you choose a height of 10 cm, for example, the heart will also be 10 cm wide.

Do I need to finish the edges? No, the hearts are laser cut, so they're precise with smooth edges – you can decorate, hang or scatter them straight away.
