We lacquer the raw sheets on both sides in the colour Toskana ourselves, in our own production in Pößneck. The colourless, satin-matt water-based lacquer lets the grain and small knots show through. That's intentional. Wood is a natural material, so every piece varies slightly in brightness and texture. That's not a flaw – it's what makes your decorations unique.
