The heart is made of 3 mm birch plywood and comes from our own production in Pößneck. We lacquer the raw boards in colour on both sides ourselves. On top is a clear, satin-matt water-based lacquer that keeps the wood grain visible. Laser cutting gives smooth edges that are accurate to size. You can start straight away without any finishing. Wood is a purely natural material. Brightness, texture and small knots vary from piece to piece. That is exactly what makes every heart unique – a feature, not a flaw.
