Every heart is made in our own production in Pößneck. We lacquer the 3 mm birch plywood boards ourselves on both sides in walnut. On top goes a clear, water-based satin lacquer. This keeps the natural wood grain visible, and the surface feels pleasantly smooth. The hearts are laser-cut. This gives clean, precise edges and shapes cut to exact size. Wood is a purely natural material. Differences in shade, fine textures and small knots are part of it. They make each heart one of a kind and are not a defect.
