It leaves the wood grain and small knots visible. The surface feels pleasantly smooth and is still clearly wood. Small differences in shade and texture are not a flaw. They are the sign of a purely natural material, and they make every heart unique.

Frequently asked questions

Are both sides lacquered? Yes. Every heart is lacquered in colour on both sides and also sealed with a clear, water-based satin lacquer. There is no untreated back.

Do all the hearts look exactly the same? The laser cut makes shape and size accurate. The wood surface underneath varies, though. Grain, shade and small knots make each heart one of a kind. That is quite normal for a natural material.

How do height and width relate? Both are the same. If you choose a height of 10 cm, for example, the heart is also 10 cm wide.

Is the heart suitable for crafts? Yes. It is 3 mm thick, with smooth laser-cut edges and a ready-lacquered surface. You can stick things on it, hang it up or work it into your DIY project straight away.
