Every heart is laser-cut from 3 mm birch plywood. This gives smooth edges and precise shapes that need no reworking. At Bütic, we lacquer the raw boards ourselves on both sides in light walnut, in our own production in Pößneck. The water-based satin lacquer lets the natural wood grain show through. Small knots and lighter or darker areas are not a flaw. They are the mark of a genuine natural material: every piece is unique.
