Each hexagon is made from 3 mm birch plywood in our own production in Pößneck. It is cut by laser. This gives smooth edges and a clean, precise finish, with no reworking needed on your part. We paint the boards ourselves in colour on both sides. The water-based satin finish lets the grain and knots show through. Wood is a purely natural material. It can be lighter or darker and shows small irregularities in its structure. This is exactly what makes each piece unique, and it is not a defect.
