Material & finish

Each hexagon is made of 3 mm birch plywood and produced in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia. The cutting is done by laser. This gives smooth edges and precise shapes that line up neatly. We lacquer the raw boards ourselves on both sides in the colour Rum. The water-based satin lacquer lets the grain and small knots show through. Wood is a purely natural material. Every piece varies slightly in shade and texture. That makes each hexagon unique and is not a flaw.
