The heart is made of 3 mm poplar plywood. It is laser-cut in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia. This is also where the typical brown edge of laser-cut pieces comes from. The front has a dark blue stain that meets DIN EN 71-3. The back is left natural and untreated, so you can design it yourself as you wish. Wood is a purely natural material. Slight differences in shade, grain and the occasional knot are not a flaw. They make every piece unique.
