Why these wooden Easter eggs make a difference in everyday life
Easter decorations should be fun, not work. The dark wooden eggs go with light colours as well as bold ones. You can hang them up again year after year. Instead of crafting new ones every year, you simply unpack your hanging Easter eggs again. Your Easter tree looks lovingly decorated, without much planning.
Material & finish
Each Easter egg is laser-cut from 3 mm birch plywood. This gives smooth edges and accurate shapes that feel pleasant to the touch and look neatly finished. The dark oak finish is applied on both sides with a coloured water-based lacquer. The wood grain and small knots remain visible. This is not a flaw but the nature of a natural material. Each egg varies slightly in texture and shade, and that is what makes it unique. The eggs are made in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia.

How to use the Easter eggs
- On the Easter tree: hang small eggs in different sizes on pussy willow or forsythia branches. Spring moves into your living room.
- On the Easter table: an egg with ribbon at each place setting or as a tag on a napkin ring. Your guests discover a lovely detail as soon as they sit down.
- In the window: several eggs hung at different heights. This creates a calm display that looks good from inside and outside, because both sides are lacquered.
- For bakeries, cafés or shops: large eggs up to 50 cm in the shop window or above the counter. Your seasonal decoration is up in no time. After Easter, you can store it away undamaged.
- For florists and market stalls: with the sets of 10, 25, 50 or 100, you decorate bouquets and arrangements in consistent quality. You don't need to reorder single eggs.
Good to know about the Easter egg
For centuries, the egg has been a symbol of new life and fertility. That's why it is still part of Easter customs today, from the decorated Easter tree to hanging decorations in the garden. Wooden Easter eggs follow this tradition. Unlike real blown eggs, they survive being hung up and taken down year after year without breaking.
Care & durability
There isn't much you need to do. After Easter, simply store the wooden eggs in a dry place and avoid constant moisture. This keeps the lacquer and wood looking good for a long time. Your Easter decorations are ready to use again next season.

Frequently asked questions
Can I hang the Easter eggs up straight away? Yes, every egg has a hole 3 mm in diameter. Thread a thin ribbon or cord through it, and you're done.
Are the eggs lacquered on both sides? Yes, both sides are lacquered in dark oak. Because both sides are lacquered in dark oak, the egg stays evenly coloured, even when it turns on the branch.
Why don't all the eggs look exactly the same? Wood is a natural material. Grain, shade and small knots remain visible under the water-based lacquer. They vary slightly from egg to egg, so every piece is unique.
Where do the Easter eggs come from? From our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia. They are laser-cut, accurate to size and with smooth edges.
Which size suits what? As a guide: at a height of 10 cm, the egg is 7.5 cm wide. Small sizes are good for bouquets and tables. Large sizes up to 50 cm suit windows and room decoration.
Plywood and lacquer are only the materials. What matters is the moment the tree is decorated and the light falls through the branches. That's when you notice: Easter has arrived. Simply choose your size and quantity. Spring will do the rest.
