Not sure which to choose? With a Bütic gift voucher you can never get it wrong. The first branches are in the vase. Outside, spring is slowly arriving. And your Easter branches are still waiting for their decorations. These wooden Easter eggs in light oak are made for your Easter branches. Simply thread a string or ribbon through the 3 mm hole. Then hang the egg on your branches. It only takes a few minutes, and you can use the eggs for many years.
What changes for you
- You can decorate Easter branches, windows or the table in minutes. The 3 mm hanging hole takes any thin ribbon with ease.
- Your Easter decorations look calm and clear rather than bright and random. The water-based lacquer in “light oak” keeps the wood grain visible.
- You'll find the right size for every idea. Choose from 3 cm for branches up to 50 cm for shop windows, in 1 cm steps.
- You can decorate with them year after year. Unlike blown eggs, wood doesn't break.
- You get clean, smooth edges with no finishing needed. Every egg is laser-cut to exact size.
Why these wooden Easter eggs make a difference in everyday life
Easter decorating should be fun, not work. With wooden Easter eggs, you can hang up your decorations without worrying about fragile eggshells. That's true even when children are helping. The light oak colour sits calmly in your home. Fresh branches, table decorations and windowsill all match. The result looks natural, and you can bring it out again every year.
Material & finish
Each Easter egg is made from 3 mm birch plywood. It is laser-cut in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia. This gives smooth edges and exact shapes that feel pleasant in the hand and look neatly finished. The water-based “light oak” lacquer on both sides gives the egg a light oak colour. The grain and small knots still show through. These differences in shade and texture are not a flaw. They are the mark of a real natural material: every piece is unique.

How to use the Easter eggs
- On Easter branches: Thread a ribbon through the hole and hang the eggs on fresh branches. Your vase becomes the centrepiece of the living room.
- In the window: Hang several eggs in different sizes at different heights. Spring greets everyone who walks past.
- On the Easter table: Place a small egg at each setting as a tag or table scatter. Your guests spot a thoughtful detail as soon as they sit down.
- In a café or shop: Large eggs up to 50 cm decorate shop windows and counters. With the sets of 10, 25, 50 or 100 pieces, you can decorate larger areas quickly and consistently.
- To decorate yourself: Paint or write on the smooth surface however you like. This way you create your own Easter decorations or a small gift with a name.
Good to know about the Easter egg
For centuries, the egg has been a symbol of new life and fertility. That's why it is still part of Easter traditions today, from decorated Easter branches to the festive table. Wooden Easter eggs follow this tradition, just in a lasting form. You bring them out again year after year instead of starting from scratch every spring.
Care & durability
There isn't much to do. After Easter, simply dust them or wipe them with a dry cloth and store them in a dry place. Avoid constant damp and wet, as wood is a natural material. Then the eggs keep their lacquered surface and their colour for many years.

Frequently asked questions
Do all the eggs look exactly the same? The laser cutting makes the shape exact, but not the wood surface. Grain, shade and small knots vary from egg to egg. This is normal for a natural material and makes every piece unique.
How do I hang up the Easter eggs? Each egg has a hole with a 3 mm diameter. Simply thread a string or thin ribbon through it. Then hang it on a branch, in a window or on a bunch of twigs.
How wide is an egg compared with its height? As a guide: at 10 cm high, the egg is 7.5 cm wide. This ratio helps you choose the right size for where you want to use it.
Where are the Easter eggs made? In our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia. They are laser-cut from 3 mm birch plywood and lacquered on both sides.
Can I decorate the eggs myself? Yes, you can paint or write on the smooth lacquered surface. This turns the blank into your own Easter decoration.
Plywood and hole sizes are only the details. What matters is the moment your finished Easter branches stand in the light and your home looks like spring. Just choose the size and quantity. The branches do the rest.
