Not sure which to choose? With a Bütic gift voucher you can never get it wrong.Spring is on its way and the first branches are in the vase. Now all that's missing is the decoration that turns them into a real Easter tree. With these wooden Easter eggs in dark walnut, you can hang up your Easter decorations in just a few minutes. They look calm and natural, as if made for your spring branches. And unlike fragile eggs, they will last you for many Easters.
What changes for you
- Your Easter tree is quick to finish. The dark walnut shade goes with almost any branch and any vase.
- You simply hang up each egg. Thread a ribbon through the 3 mm hanging hole and you're done.
- You'll find exactly the size that suits your idea. From 3 cm for delicate twigs to 50 cm for a door or shop window, in 1 cm steps.
- No need to worry about breakage. The wooden egg survives hanging up, taking down and storing year after year without damage.
- After Easter, tidying up takes just a minute. The flat eggs made from 3 mm birch plywood store away in very little space until next spring.
Why these wooden Easter eggs make a difference in everyday life
A decorated Easter tree changes the mood of a room. It brings spring into your home before everything outside is in bloom. With their dark wooden surface, the dark walnut eggs stay subtle in colour rather than bright. The result looks lovingly decorated but never overdone. And because you can mix the sizes freely, you get exactly the look you have in mind.
Material & finish
Every Easter egg is laser-cut from 3 mm birch plywood. This gives smooth edges and precise shapes that feel pleasant to the touch and look neatly finished. The coloured water-based lacquer doesn't cover the wood completely. The grain and small knots still show through. That is exactly what makes them special. Wood is a purely natural material, so every egg turns out slightly different in texture and shade. Each piece is one of a kind, not a flaw. The eggs are made in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia.

How to use the Easter eggs
- On the Easter tree at home: thread a ribbon through the hole and hang the egg on the branches. The vase in your hallway greets your guests with a spring mood right at the door.
- As tree hangers and bush decorations in a mix of sizes: alternating large and small eggs give your branches depth, with no need for further decoration.
- For crafting with children: the smooth, lacquered eggs are easy to hold and thread. And in the end, something the little ones made themselves hangs on the branches.
- In a bakery, café or shop: with a set of 25 or 50 eggs, you can decorate your counter and shop window in a matching style in no time. And you can use the same decorations again next year.
- As a gift tag on an Easter present: a small egg on a ribbon turns a simple parcel into a thoughtful Easter greeting.
Good to know about the Easter egg
For centuries, the egg has been a symbol of new life and the start of spring. That is why decorating branches with eggs – the Easter tree – is a firm part of Easter tradition in many families. With wooden eggs, you can carry on this custom without having to blow out and paint new eggs every year.
Care & durability
There's not much you need to do. If needed, simply wipe with a dry cloth and avoid constant moisture. That way, the lacquered walnut shade will keep its look for a long time. After Easter, store the flat eggs in a box until next season. They take up very little space.

Frequently asked questions
Are the Easter eggs lacquered on both sides? Yes, each egg is lacquered on both sides in the colour "dark walnut". So it looks just as good from every side, however it turns on the ribbon.
How do I hang the eggs? Each egg has a hanging hole 3 mm in diameter. Thread a ribbon or string through it, tie a knot and hang it up. Done.
How wide is an egg at a given height? As a guide: at a height of 10 cm, the width is 7.5 cm. The proportions stay the same for all sizes.
Do all the eggs look exactly the same? Wood is a natural material. The grain, shade and small knots vary slightly and stay visible through the water-based lacquer. This is intentional – it makes every egg one of a kind.
A birch plywood egg is only the beginning. What counts is the moment your finished Easter tree stands in the room and you can really feel that spring has arrived. Simply choose your sizes and quantity. Ribbon and branches do the rest.
