Material & finish

The wooden mushrooms are laser-cut from 3 mm plywood. This keeps them stable in shape and light enough for the adhesive backing to hold them securely. The front is light and untreated. The edges are brown, as is typical for laser cutting. This subtle contrast gives the motif depth. Wood is a purely natural material. Brightness and grain always vary a little, and small knots are normal. That makes every piece unique. The mushrooms are made in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia.
