Wooden window hanging – snail, engraved both sides, 20 × 16 cm

You look out of the window and the garden is turning green. But the glass is still missing a small detail that makes visitors smile. That's what this wooden window hanging with a cute snail is for. It's a small wall decoration made of poplar plywood and engraved on both sides. It's just right for your kitchen window. Once it's up, it brings a bit of nature and a smile into the room.

What changes for you

• Your window shows the snail from both sides. It's engraved on both sides, so it looks good from outside too.
• You can hang it up in seconds, with no tools and no fiddling. There's a hole for hanging it.
• Your decoration looks natural rather than loud and random. The light poplar plywood and its grain speak for themselves.
• You're holding a handmade piece from Germany. It's made in Bütic's own production in Pößneck, with clean laser cuts.

Why this window hanging makes a difference every day

A window without decoration is just glass. With the little snail, it becomes a spot in the room where your eyes like to rest. The natural material is calm and doesn't push itself forward. That's why it suits every season. Hang it in the window, on the wall in a child's room or on a door wreath. The snail turns an empty surface into a cosy moment.

Material & finish

The window hanging is made of poplar plywood. It's light, warm in tone and feels pleasant in your hand. All cuts are made by laser. The design is laser-engraved on both sides in two stages. This gives the snail fine details and visible depth. Wood is a purely natural material. The surfaces vary in lightness, and small knots and variations in the grain are part of it. The engravings on the two sides almost always turn out slightly different. That makes every piece unique. It's not a flaw, it's simply the nature of wood.

How to use the window hanging

• In the kitchen window: hang the snail on a ribbon. It greets you with your first coffee in the morning, and your neighbours from the other side.
• In a child's room: hang it on the wall above the bed or on the window handle. It's a calm design that children like straight away.
• As a small gift: give a piece of wooden decoration instead of flowers. It's light, easy to pack safely and stays in use for a long time.
• In a café or farm shop: a nature design on the shop window shows customers from outside that things inside are natural and made with care.
• For spring and garden decorations: combine it with twigs or herb pots to create a little scene on the windowsill.

Good to know about snails

The snail always carries its house with it. That's why it stands for home, security and a soothing slowness. So the design works well as a housewarming decoration or a small gift for a new flat. Or simply as a reminder to take things a little slower in everyday life.

Care & durability

There's not much you need to do. Dusting it with a dry cloth now and then is enough. Avoid constant damp and wet conditions. That way the untreated plywood keeps its shape and the engraving stays clear.
