The surface is sealed twice with a hard-wearing water-based clear varnish. This makes it resistant to everyday use. Every board is made in our own production at Bütic in Pößneck, Thuringia, with a clean finish right to the edge. Good to know: wood is a purely natural material. Differences in shade, fine textures and small knots in the grain are not a flaw. They make every piece unique.
