The clipboard is made of 3 mm birch plywood. It is very sturdy and robust, yet pleasantly light to carry. Two coats of water-based clear lacquer protect the cornflower blue surface in daily use. The surface feels smooth and easy to grip. Every board comes from our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia, and is carefully finished. Wood is a natural material. Brightness, grain and small knots vary from board to board. That makes every piece one of a kind. The grain can run horizontally or vertically.
