The board is made in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia. It is cut from 3 mm birch plywood, which is very sturdy and robust despite its slim profile. The rounded corners of the board shape sit comfortably in your hand. The dark walnut surface is sealed with two coats of hard-wearing, water-based clear lacquer. Wood is a purely natural material. The grain may turn out lighter or darker, and small knots can occur. This makes every piece one of a kind – it is not a flaw.

Good to know about the clipboard

Birch plywood is made of several veneer layers glued crosswise. This keeps it dimensionally stable, and it warps far less than a solid wood board of the same thickness. That is why the writing surface of this clipboard stays flat despite being only 3 mm thick. The board is also pleasantly light – you notice it with every note you write standing up.

Care & durability

There isn't much you need to do. Simply wipe the board with a dry or slightly damp cloth when needed. The clear lacquer protects the surface in everyday use. Avoid constant moisture and harsh cleaning products, and your wooden clipboard will keep looking well kept for a long time.
