The clipboard is made from 3 mm birch plywood. Despite its slim thickness, this material is very sturdy and robust. It is pleasantly light to hold. The rounded corners and clean finish make it smooth to the touch. Two coats of water-based clear lacquer protect the scarlet surface in daily use. Wood is a purely natural material. Differences in shade, small knots and fine structures in the grain are not flaws. They make every board one of a kind. Your clipboard is made in our own production at Bütic in Pößneck, Thuringia.

Good to know about the clipboard

Birch plywood is made of several veneer layers glued crosswise. This construction makes it dimensionally stable and light at the same time. That's exactly why it works so well for a clipboard. Care & durability

There's not much you need to do. Thanks to the clear lacquer seal, a slightly damp cloth is enough to wipe the surface. Avoid prolonged moisture and harsh cleaning agents. That way the scarlet surface will look good for a long time.

Can I choose the direction of the grain? Yes, a preferred direction is possible on request. Just send us a short message with your order.

Are there clips with a pen holder? Yes, some wire clips are optionally available with a pen holder. So your pen is always right on the board.

Does every clipboard look the same? No. Wood is a natural material with differences in shade, fine textures and small knots. Every board is one of a kind.

How is the surface treated? The scarlet surface is sealed twice with a hard-wearing water-based clear lacquer. This protects it well in daily use.
